I’ve always been a storyteller—not in the casual, overused sense of the word, but a bonafide storyteller. For me, storytelling isn’t just a skill; it’s a way of seeing the world, of crafting narratives that entertain, connect, and resonate. It’s an art I’ve spent my life honing across mediums like theater, film, television, and advertising. Every story I tell comes with purpose, depth, and the kind of authenticity that can only come from years of practice and passion.

Even in fourth grade, storytelling was my natural instinct. I turned book reports into performances, adding imaginative twists far beyond what was on the page. My teacher caught on, but by then, the spark had already ignited. In high school and college, I studied acting, and by my freshman year, I discovered a talent for writing sketch comedy. That revelation set me on a path I’ve followed ever since.

Over the past three decades, writing has been my life. I’ve written for film, television, and advertising—careers that not only sustained me but also fueled my passion for crafting compelling narratives. By day, I lead a team of designers, photographers, and writers as a senior creative director. By night, my creativity flows into “Stories by Greg Kerns.”

This platform is my outlet for the endless ideas in my mind. Each short story is more than just a fleeting thought; it’s a seed that could grow into a feature, a pilot, or the next great screenplay.
